I am very excited to join the law offices of Gerald F. Chefalo. Since 2004, I have been a solo practitioner in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan specializing in criminal, civil, probate, and Native American law. In addition to my private practice, I was an adjunct professor at Lake Superior State University’s Criminal Justice Program. I have worked as an assistant prosecutor in Oakland County and as a research analyst for NBC's Nightly News, The Today Show, and Meet the Press.
It is a welcomed opportunity to live and work in the Grand Traverse area community. My wife Meegan and stepdaughter Sadie reside in Traverse City. My father, James Feil, is the superintendent of Traverse City Area Public Schools. I am a family man at heart and I look forward to starting a family in this community as well as being closer to my parents and grandmother.
Traverse City is a thriving community that has not lost its northern Michigan charm and hospitality, so if you see me please stop and introduce yourself. I look forward making your acquaintance.
